The latest campaign offers Old Oswestrians, parents, staff and the wider Oswestry School community a unique opportunity to sponsor and name a seat in a fully equipped new theatre, which is being created inside the school's Memorial Hall.
With building work already in progress, the school's new arts facility is scheduled to open in September 2026. Thanks to the incredible generosity of several patron donors and the school's fundraising efforts, over £1million has been raised towards the build.
But the fundraising appeal is not over. With £500,000 of the target amount still needed, the latest campaign aims to make an important contribution towards the costs.
The 'Sponsor a Seat' campaign offers supporters the chance to name a seat in the new tiered seating system being planned for inside the theatre. There are 152 seats in total, - 30 seats have already been sponsored.
Our inspiring new campaign video, "How Much Does a Dream Cost?" has been launched on social media - a video production made entirely in-house with our very talented pupils, staff, parents and a few OOs! We hope you enjoy watching it.
